Selva di Cadore

A very precious and extraordinary museum.
Among other things, it contains the remains of the man from Mondeval, found by Vittorino Cazzetta in a Mesolithic burial, the imprint of the footprints of the dinosaurs, present on the wall of a large boulder detached from the Monte Pelmo massif, not far from the museum.

Located in Selva di Cadore, it has good parking and is easily accessible from both the Agordino and the Val di Zoldo. Excursions to the Mesolithic site of Mondeval start not far away, the whole area is well served by mountain huts.
